The Federal Bar Association in conjunction with the Office of Chief Counsel, Internal Revenue Service, will present the 29th Annual Insurance Tax Seminar on June 1 - June 2, 2017 at the JW Marriott Hotel Washington, D.C.
Booke has provided seminars since 1968 that address insurance company accounting and reporting, including separate two and one half day seminars on the federal income taxation of life and property and casualty insurance companies. Booke also provides webinars and other offerings.
Participants in the tax seminars develop an understanding of the theory and structure of federal income taxation of insurance companies, acquire the knowledge and skills needed to complete or review the Form 1120-L or 1120-PC, and understand the impact of taxation on financial reporting including tax provisions, statutory nonadmitted amounts and note disclosures.
